Show-makers got their prizes

“Though I’m not fine, but rather thick connoisseur of art, but I know how refined is the art of sound and light managing, - the musician Sergey Mazaev said, announcing one of the awards on the stage of the “Forum” concert hall, located in Expo-center on Krasnaya Presnya. On 16th of March 2005 the first ceremony of National professional show-technology awards “SHOWTEX AWARDS” took place. The nominees were the people, whose names usually stay in the shadow, but who manage the light, sound, scenography and other elements of concert show.

80 worthy professionals of show-industry aspired to 11 nominees, their works are well known to the public due to the most remarkable project of 2004. There are the employees of “FBI Music” among them. Alexey Breitburg (“Dialog” studio) got the award in “sound-director” fro the work over the show-program of “Prime Ministr” band, he is the son of the composer Kim Breitburg. And in the nominee “designer of visual effects and scene space” the award went to Vitaliy Chuvilin for the work over the show-program of “Prime Ministr” band “#1” in “Russia”.

The author of the project and the sign of the “SHOWTEX AWARDS” is the artist-designer Boris Krasnov, and the founder is “Mayer J Group”.
